Fred Sirieix breaks silence after Gino D’Acampo ‘sexually inappropriate’ claims

Fred Sirieix has broken his social media silence following allegations of “sexually inappropriate” behaviour levelled against his co-star Gino D’Acampo. ITV News reported that TV chef Gino D’Acampo had been accused by multiple individuals of “unacceptable”, “distressing” and “horrendous” behaviour spanning 12 years.

D’Acampo has “firmly denied” the claims, describing them as “deeply upsetting”. He’s a familiar face on ITV, appearing on shows like Family Fortunes and more recently, Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible with Fred Sirieix.

The duo have collaborated numerous times over the years, including starring alongside Gordon Ramsay in Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip. Now, Fred Sirieix has made his first post since the allegations against D’Acampo surfaced, sharing a video about his new kitchen on social media.

Revealing his kitchen transformation with Howdens Joinery, Fred shared the ad on Instagram, writing: “My brand new @howdensjoinery kitchen. I’m loving the cosy farmhouse feel inspired by a picture of my lovely grandparents.

“I wanted this kitchen to feel traditional in style, functional in its design, and practical for everyday use – with Lamona appliances bringing it all together,” he continued. “It’s now a space in my home filled with memories, both old and new. What do you think?” reports the Mirror.

In the video, Fred gushes: “Welcome to my new Howdens kitchen, I love it. I want to say a big thank you to the trades people who built it because the quality is second to none and to host in this kitchen is a dream come true.”

Meanwhile, Fred has not yet responded to the accusations against his pal D’Acampo. On Thursday, ITV News aired some intense claims made by one woman asserting that back in 2011, D’Acampo made inappropriate remarks towards her.

She alleges he said that he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter”. According to her, there was laughter from the crew making her feel belittled: “I definitely saw it as some kind of power play,” she told ITV, wanting to remain anonymous as Hannah.

“The very act of what he said was aggressive. He did not think that was an inappropriate thing to say to me.”

But reps for D’Acampo are hitting back, telling ITV: “This allegation from almost 15 years ago has never, until now via a media request for comment, been raised or put to Mr D’Acampo. He does not recall it, nor accept that this happened. Mr D’Acampo is horrified to be accused of ‘power play’ and an ‘aggressive act’. He emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations.”
