Drake has officially tied with Taylor Swift and Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 as a solo artist.
The 6 God’s latest album, Some Sexy Songs 4 U with PartyNextDoor, debuted on top of the Billboard 200 after moving 246,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 25,000 coming from pure album sales, Billboard reports. Drake now has a total of 14 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, which ties him with Swift and Jay as the artists with the most chart-topping albums in Billboard’s 69-year history.
Only The Beatles have more number ones than Drake, Swift, and Hov, with 19 total chart-topping albums. After the trio are Eminem, Future, Bruce Springsteen, Barbara Streisand, and Ye with 11 each. Drake’s first No. 1 came with his debut album Thank Me Later, which dropped in 2010.
Drizzy’s last No. 1 came when his 2023 album For All The Dogs topped the Billboard 200 chart. His most successful No. 1 was his 2016 effort Views, which spent 13 weeks atop the chart.
Jay, on the other hand, earned his last No. 1 when he dropped his thirteenth studio album, 4:44, in 2017, with 262,000 album-equivalent units earned in its first week.
