Holland and Barrett, the UK’s leading health and wellness retailer, is set to open the doors to its refurbished Newcastle Eldon Square store just in time for Christmas on Tuesday December 17.
Complete with a fresh look and feel, the 2152 sq.ft store is the latest opening in part of Holland & Barrett’s ongoing investment in revitalising its retail store experience – having invested £70 million in the transformation of technology, new product development and the opening and renovation of over 200 stores in the UK.
Boasting even more of Holland and Barrett’s latest ranges of health and wellness solutions, customers can expect to see leading brands in store. The new own food range, crafted by expert nutritionists and chefs, is tailored to customers specific wellness needs and specialised diet needs, addressing key aspects such as gut health and skin.
Sustainability is at the heart of the new store, which has been refitted using 100% recyclable material, used where possible from old stores to minimise waste, along with FSC certified wood and more efficient LED powered lighting.
To celebrate the opening, there will be the chance to win wellness goodie bags on December 17, plus opportunities to sample H&B’s new food range on December 20 and 21 between 10am – 4pm.

And what’s more to celebrate the opening, customers can get 20% off in-store until Tuesday January 14, by quoting ‘Newcastle20’ at the till point.

The team of expert colleagues are all qualified to advise customers to offer personalised support for their wellness goals, which will also include a Women’s Health Coach to offer a deeper level of expertise and confidential support on hormone health.
Holland and Barrett has also taken the lead as the first major-retailer to introduce ‘Plant Points’ on food labelling, encouraging customers to incorporate a diverse range of at least 30 different plants a week.

The Eldon Square store will be open Monday to Friday, 9am-7pm (tlil 8pm on Thursday) and 10am – 5pm on Sundays.
