The internet is abuzz with the sizzling drama of the Spanish reality show Temptation Island, as racy clips from the dating series spread like wildfire. The show, known as La Isla de las Tentaciones in Spain, puts couples’ relationships to the test by separating them into different villas filled with single people of the opposite sex.
Although the Spanish series may seem like just another dating competition, one viral clip has particularly caught the attention of reality TV fans worldwide, with many describing it as “Love Island on steroids”.
In the clip, contestant Jose Carlos Montoya is forced to watch live footage of his girlfriend Anita Williams in her villa, getting into bed with another man.
With host Sandra Barneda looking on, Montoya breaks down in dramatic fashion before sprinting across the beach to confront Anita in the other villa. Anita quickly realises the gravity of the situation and rushes to Montoya, begging to leave the show with him, according to the Mirror US.

The explicit content left many fans stunned at just how racy the Spanish show can get, with many eager to know how to stream this explosive show. “Let me tell you something… God has not been in the island of temptation not ONCE! This is like OG Love Island + Geordie Shore on Spanish steroids,” one viewer commented.
One viewer took to X to say: “Me going on Duolingo to learn Spanish so I can ‘attempt’ to understand Spain temptation island”, reports the Mirror.
Another eager fan expressed: “Honestly, the amount that Temptation Island needs to come to the UK is ridiculous”.
Sadly, the Spanish version isn’t up for grabs in the UK, as it’s exclusive to Mitele, a free-to-stream channel for those in Spain. But not all hope is lost for reality TV addicts!
The American version of Temptation Island is making a splash on Netflix from 13 March, with actor Mark Walberg at the helm.
Originally broadcast on Fox, the show is now spicing up its ninth series on Netflix. The platform is stirring up excitement with a teaser: “Prepare for sunny skies and a high chance of infidelity, as four couples at a pivotal point in their relationships test their bond by living with a group of singles of the opposite sex. Isolated from one another, the couples will decide whether to return to their lives together, chart a new path alone, or leave the island with a new lover”.
