Ice Spice declares that she’s “thick again” in a new song teaser.
In a clip posted on Tuesday (March 11), the rapper had a twerkfest while rapping along to her upcoming track near the Eiffel Tower in Paris. In the 30-second teaser, Ice rocked straightened ginger hair, a cropped moto jacket and a plaid pleated mini skirt.
“She got thin but she wanna get thick again,” she rapped, presumably about herself. “Shawty got back on her oats/ He stay on my body it’s hard to get rid of him/ He know that I like him the most/ He takin’ me out and he’s spendin’ a lot/ I be in Louis and Lenci a lot.”
The track makes Ice’s latest release since “Hannah Montana” featuring NLE Choppa and DaBaby on Y2K!: I’m Just a Girl, the deluxe edition of her debut album.
The teaser also follows Ice responding to online trolls that targeted her weight loss, claiming that she lost her sex appeal. Last December, the Bronx artist posted a SpongeBob Squarepants meme on her Instagram Stories, brushing off those who consider her “mid.”
While on the Y2K! World Tour, Ice kept herself active, taking fans to the gym on TikTok, where she showed her fitness routine and showed that she wasn’t dependent on Ozempic. Ice was also in an X Spaces chat last August, lashing out “lazy ass bitches” who’ve alleged that she takes the weight loss drug.
