Love Island: All Stars fans have expressed their disappointment, claiming they’ve “never been more bored” as a game took a “disappointing” turn.
In the episode aired on Friday (7th February), viewers watched the continuation of the previous night’s Snog, Marry, Pie game, which saw the Islanders line up by the pool to receive their fate.
The tension was palpable as Samie had to decide who to kiss, following her recent love triangle with Luca and Grace.
Earlier in the week, Samie had caused quite a stir when she showed interest in Luca, who seemed to reciprocate after he had previously slid into her DMs.
Despite assuring his partner Grace that he was focused on her, Luca was encouraged by the other boys to explore a possible connection with Samie, who they claimed was “his type on the outside”.
The drama heightened during a heated game of Spin the Bottle/Truth or Dare, where Luca chose to kiss Samie despite Grace’s explicit request not to.
Fans were eager to see if Samie would return the favour in the latest episode, but instead, she gave Curtis a peck on the cheek and pied Luca, leaving viewers feeling rather let down, reports the Mirror.
Many quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent their frustrations, with one viewer writing: “I’ve never been more bored in my life this episode is so dry. Snog, Marry, Pie is supposed to be entertaining omg.”
“So basically the cliffhanger was for nothing just for Samie to give Curtis a kiss on his cheek,” one fan commented, clearly disappointed. Another chimed in: “That cliffhanger was for no reason literally.”
A third viewer expressed frustration, saying: “This season of all stars was acc getting so entertaining and now we’re wasting nearly two eps on the pie challenge it’s so long winded and becoming boring.”
Meanwhile, another fan wasn’t surprised by the turn of events: “I knew Samie wasn’t gonna kiss Luca because if she was they would of left the cliffhanger after the kiss.”
In the latest episode, there was also a recoupling where the boys had the power to choose their partners, leading to Samie and Danielle being sent home after not being picked.
