Kai Cenat had a surreal experience at Playboi Carti’s Rolling Loud set in Inglewood, California.
The streamer took to his Twitch channel to share the once-in-a-lifetime moment from this past weekend with his fans.
“Chat, I don’t know what it was. When I got on that stage, it’s something different. When I got on that stage, I just turned into a fucking…rockstar. The songs were just hitting different,” he explained as he watched footage from his stream of Carti’s performance.
Cenat started grinning and dancing while watching the video, where, at one point he’s seen throwing his purple Supreme hoodie into the crowd and head banging to Carti’s Music album cut, “Evil Jordan.”
“Yo, whoever got that jacket, I need that back,” Cenat said. “This is a $300 jacket. When you’re on stage, you start thinking like, ‘Fuck it.’ I don’t know what it is.”
At that point, a fan in the chat told Cenat that TikTok user @itshmurdaa had posted a video bragging about catching the hoodie. In a second TikTok, @itshmurdaa said he would return the item to Cenat.
“Chat, this is literally probably the craziest IRL, gang,” Cenat said, his attention returning to Carti’s performance. “I think it’s so cool to bring a stream on stage, but this might be the only time this could happen. This right here was probably the perfect time. It literally doesn’t get no better than this.”
At one point, while performing the Whole Lotta Red track, “Rockstar Made,” Carti handed Cenat and streamer Dabo his YVL (Young Vamp Life) chain.
The Weeknd also popped out to perform the Music song “Rather Lie,” with Cenat describing their interaction as “amazing.”
“Chat, everybody was really cool,” Cenat added. “Carti’s a good dude. Carti dead ass fuck with n***as, bro. … I genuinely had a blast.”
