Kai Cenat met the Carters at the Grammys.
The streamer took to Twitch, where he shared his experience chatting with Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, and Sir. His meeting with the family was captured on his stream, which he played while discussing what happened.
“I go up to Jay, I say, ‘What’s up, bro?’” Cenat said at around 28:20 minute mark. “Blue Ivy is going crazy—she watches everything. I said, ‘Shout-out to you, you’re doing amazing.’”
Cenat then revealed that Jay “gave me his number” and that Beyoncé, though in the middle of another conversation, turned around to “shake my hand.” When she was finished, she and Kai spoke.
“‘Nice to meet you, you have beautiful energy,’” she told him. He continued, “This is fake. I don’t know what’s going on no more. … This shit so crazy, bro. … It was so crazy that Blue Ivy knew exactly who I was.”
This was Cenat’s first time at the award show. The 23-year-old also briefly connected with Kanye West on Sunday. “I glazed, I couldn’t hold it in,” Kai said on his Grammys stream.
Last month, Kai shared that he and Ye had squashed their beef. “Oh my gosh. Kanye just texted me,” Kai said back in early January. “Kanye said, ‘Happy New Year, family.’ I’m not lying to you. … The beef is over, chat. The beef is over.”
