Kendrick Super Bowl Performance: All the Guests Who Made an Appearance

Though Samuel L. Jackson—dressed as Uncle Sam—acted as Kendrick Lamar’s narrator during his Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, it seemed like the actor might be the only one of Dot’s famous friends to pop out.

That is, until SZA materialized to perform the GNX album cut, “Luther” and stayed to perform “All the Stars” from the Black Panther soundtrack. While we thought that would be it, Serena Williams joined us to crip walk during Dot’s Drake diss, “Not Like Us” and Mustard ran out for the highly-memed GNX track,“TV Off.”

Check out clips of their appearances below.

Samuel L. Jackson

Jackson donned an Uncle Sam costume to act as the narrator during Kenny’s already legendary Super Bowl performance.

SZA

Solána was the first and only guest artist who performed on the mic, singing her features on the GNX track, “Luther” and Black Panther soundtrack song, “All the Stars” in an all-red outfit.

Serena Williams

Serena was the biggest surprise of the night, Crip walking to Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which she called the “hit of the summer” last year. At that time, she also revealed she Crip walks “all the time” and often to the aforementioned Drake diss.

Mustard

Mustard emerged for Kung Fu Kenny’s performance of the hit GNX song, “TV Off,” which features the Compton rapper yelling “Mustard” at one point—a moment that spawned a lot of memes. The song also peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
