On the new episode of The Kardashians, out now on Disney+, Kris Jenner was visibly moved to tears as she opened up about her daughter Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom.
In a touching reunion featured in the season’s opener, Khloe had an emotional encounter with Lamar, marking their first meeting in six years.
Khloe revealed her intention to give back some items she still kept of his, roping in her BFF Malika Haqq to organize the meet-up.
The second episode sees the continuation of their reunion, prompting Khloe to surprise her mum with a FaceTime call during which Kris shockingly discovers Lamar sitting next to Khloe.
In a heartfelt confessional cutaway, Kris spoke candidly to the camera about her feelings, finding it hard to hold back tears, reports the Mirror.

She shared: “It makes me really emotional, just the ability for her to have the strength to go do that, I’m very proud of her and I’m proud of Lamar for coming because that had to be hard for him to walk in.”
Kris continued, expressing her compassion: “I feel a lot of forgiveness for him and obviously love him and felt bad that he had this addiction that he couldn’t control and I was devastated for my child who, that was the love of her life and she thought that was her happily ever after and it didn’t work out that way for them.”
“It’s just a lot to wrap my head around,” Kris Jenner said, tears streaming down her face as she grappled with the emotional weight of the situation.
To make matters worse, Lamar Odom added salt to the wound by telling his former mother-in-law: “She’s the best wife ever.” While Khloe Kardashian could only shake her head in silent disapproval.

The couple had tied the knot back in 2009, but by 2013, Khloe had filed for divorce, which was eventually finalised two years on.
In a shocking turn of events, October 2015 saw Lamar hospitalised after being discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel, leading to a four-day coma.
Despite their romantic relationship having ended, Khloe showed immense support by moving Lamar into the house next door once he was discharged from the hospital. She assisted him in his recovery until they ultimately went their separate ways for good.
