A former Love Island star has been left absolutely devastated after her home was robbed and ransacked just days before Christmas. Margarita Smith, who starred on Love Island Australia back in 2019, shared footage on her social media page of the horrifying after of the burglary where she told her followers “her expensive items” were stolen.
According to Mail Online, the reality TV star posted a video of a police van out the front of her Melbourne home before officers headed inside to asses the damage. The house appeared to have been completely trashed, with broken items strewn around the floor and Christmas presents torn open. Margarita, 31, devastatingly captioned the post on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Broken into right before Christmas. Spending the day with the police.”

In a second post to her 235,000 followers, she added: “Imagine turning someone’s house upside down like this after breaking in and stealing ALL their expensive items? Disgusting.”
Margarita, who strutted her way into Love Island Australia as a bombshell on season back in 2019, appeared completely disgusted at her home being violated.
During her time on the reality show, Margarita enjoyed dates with the likes of Adam Farrugia and Matt Zukowsk, before forming a connection with fellow newcomer Blake Williamson.

Unfortunately, things didn’t last very long when Blake cut things off with Margarita when she told the fellow girls about the night they’d spent together.
After being dumped from the Island five days following her arrival, Margarita has gone on to be a social media influencer.
Then last September, the reality star turned OnlyFans model, announced her engagement to her long-term boyfriend Jake Driessen. At the time, she shared a loved-up video to Instagram capturing the romantic moment Jake proposed to her while they were on holiday in Bali.

Jake kneeled onto the ground and pulled out a ring, as Margarita immediately accepted his proposal and warmly embraced him in the short clip.
She wrote in a caption: “WE ARE ENGAGED!!!!!! I still cry watching this. My favourite human ever flew to Bali and surprised me by asking me to be his wife. I can’t even describe the feeling. The most magical, overwhelming, love filled moment of my life… I love you forever Jake.”
The reality star has also switched up her look from time to time and documented it on social media; she went blonde for a short while, before dyeing her hair brown again.

Speaking about her appearance, Margarita previously hit out at former co-star Adam Farrugia after he called her ‘fake’ and said he preferred a more ‘natural’ girl. Margarita said she loves her appearance after revealing she has had breast implants and a nose job.
She claimed her decision to go under the knife had nothing to do with feeling insecure, telling Daily Mail Australia: “I’ve always been a really confident person, my whole life.
“I’ve never actually sat there and thought, ‘Oh, I don’t like this.’ I liked my boobs before. I thought they were fantastic! But, to be honest, I’ve always liked that dolled up, fake look.”
