Love Island villa sees shock dumping as ‘two girls brutally axed’ days before final

The Love Island villa has reportedly been left reeling after a surprise dumping, which saw two female contestants get the boot. This dramatic twist comes hot on the heels of a chaotic week, sparked by the arrival of newcomers Chuggs Wallace and Samie Elishi.

Tensions flared when it emerged that Samie and Luca had exchanged messages outside the villa, and things escalated further during a game of truth and dare spin the bottle, when Luca chose to kiss Samie. The public then decided that Samie should couple up with Luca, leaving Grace Jackson single. The latest episode ended on a cliffhanger, with fans eagerly awaiting Samie’s decision on who to snog in the game of Snog, Marry, Pie. According to an insider, the next recoupling has major consequences.

Two girls have reportedly been dumped from the Island just a week before the final

“Two stars were dumped after a shock recoupling was announced – everyone was so upset by the result,” the source revealed to The Sun. “There were tears and a lot of dirty looks, it was gutting for the axed islanders as it’s just days away from the final week.” OK! has reached out to ITV for comment.

In the previous episode, viewers saw Luca and Samie embark on their first date, but despite being coupled up, Luca opted to sleep outside with Grace. This news comes just days after former Love Island contestant Amy Hart seemingly let slip the date of the All Stars final on the show’s daily podcast.

The ‘shock dumping’ is said to have left the Islanders in tears

Amy confirmed that the final will take place “two weeks away”, indicating that the series finale will air on Monday, February 17. Drama has been at an all-time high in the villa this year, as not one, but two All Stars made the shocking decision to leave within just a few days of one another.

Last week, it was Scott Thomas who made headlines first, announcing his decision to exit. The 36 year old reality star, paired with Made In Chelsea’s Tina Stinnes, confessed he “didn’t want to force” a connection that wasn’t there.

His tearful goodbye left the cast devastated, but the surprises didn’t stop there. Only days later, Ron Hall declared he’d be the next to depart.

Ron, who found himself paired up with bombshell Danielle, realised while they got along, their bond lacked romance. “I know we’ve just lost Scott, and I know it’s s**, but it is my time… There’s only so much that I can do, sitting in the sun, just sort of staring at the door for the right person. I just don’t know whether that right person is going to come in for me so I am going to go tonight,” explained Ron as he tackled his bittersweet farewell.

In the aftermath, Danielle has been coupled up with Chuggs following a twist from the public vote, while Tina remains single, though she too has begun getting to know the charming new bombshell.
