Mariah Carey brought holiday cheer to Netflix on Christmas Day.
Ahead of the streamed NFL Christmas Gameday with the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday, Carey dazzled fans with a performance of her 1994 hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
The pre-taped performance of her Christmas standard featured the 55-year-old singer atop of a festival float and cut to clips of fans celebrating NFL wins. Kevin Hart, 45, even made a surprise cameo.
Another part of the pre-show included a sketch starring John Cena playing a stressed-out Santa Claus who tries to figure out how to grant the NFL their wish of getting two games on Christmas.
Although some fans believed Carey would actually be on the field at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, the singer continued her annual tradition of taking a family trip to Aspen, Colorado, after wrapping up her Christmas Time tour last Tuesday in Brooklyn.
She shared photos of her trip with her 13-year-old twin children, Moroccan Scott and Monroe, whom she shares with Nick Cannon, 44.
Beyoncé will headline her special “A Cowboy Carter Christmas” halftime performance when the Houston Texans play against the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. ET on Netflix.
