The Masked Singer UK’s mystery continues to grip the nation, and ITV viewers are on the edge of their seats trying to guess who’s behind Wolf’s suave get-up. But one eagle-eyed fan reckons they’ve cracked it after spotting a clue linked to Coronation Street legend Nigel Havers.
Last Saturday, Wolf belted out The Candy Man, sparking rumours that Marti Pellow of Wet Wet Wet fame was the man behind the mask. Yet, a twist in the tale emerged when a fan noticed the tour poster for Nigel Havers’ one-man show, ‘Talking B*LL*CKS’, which shows him nonchalantly seated beside a wolf mask.
The tour is set to open at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on Drury Lane, and this fan is sure the poster “gives away” the game.

Soap aficionados will recall Nigel Havers, 73, as the charming Lewis Archer, who romanced Audrey Roberts (played by Sue Nicholls) on the cobbles. He first graced Weatherfield in 2009 and bowed out a decade later when his character met a dramatic end.
Beyond the world of Corrie, Nigel has showcased his talents in Netflix’s The Gentleman, the drama Finding Alice, the sun-soaked ITV comedy Benidorm, and Tracey Ullman’s Show. His journey in the limelight began in 1973 with a modest part in the period drama Shabby Tiger, reports the Mirror.
The Masked Singer UK fans hit social media this week with buzzing speculation over the celeb behind the flamboyant Pufferfish costume – and a flurry of them are putting their bets on an EastEnders favourite. “I reckon Pufferfish is Shona McGarty from Eastenders. #TheMaskedSinger”, one viewer tweeted confidently, while another fan added fuel to the same fire: “Going Whitney from Eastenders as Pufferfish #themaskedsingeruk #TheMaskedSinger”.
