The Danny Jones and Maura Higgins saga has taken another turn since their much talked about kiss at a BRIT Awards after party. A source claimed to the MailOnline that the duo, who hit it off in the Aussie bush for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, have been keeping up their friendship on Insta since they wrapped up the show last December.
Now, following a boozy kiss at the glam Universal bash in London post-BRITs, it’s emerged that the pair have stayed in touch after their jungle jollies. The source claimed: “Maura had kept in touch with Danny since I’m A Celeb. The majority of the cast have kept in contact, but Maura had been complimentary towards Danny. Maura is friendly with everyone but, still, Danny is married and therefore the tone could be deemed inappropriate.”

Moreover, they added how the ex-campmates’ catch-up at the Universal shindig, held at 180 Studios on The Strand, was no chance encounter – it was all planned out, as they celebrated into the night along with other celeb campers like dance queen Oti Mabuse, 34.
McFly’s Danny Jones also ‘liked’a sultry photo of influencer Maura on Instagram before their infamous ‘kiss’. Meanwhile, it appears Maura has also shown appreciation for Danny’s social media posts, reports the Mirror.
Married to former Miss World Georgia Horsley since 2014—whom he met at a Miss London event back in 2009—the couple has a son named Cooper who is 7 years old. Amid the scandal, an insider told the Mirror that Georgia is “struggling” and feels “humiliated” as she prioritises ‘protecting her son’.
Although she was expected to shine at the Baby Show with her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host Kelsey Parker today, Saturday (7 March), sources say Georgia will be noticeably absent. Georgia is determined to keep Cooper away from the public drama, explained the source: “Georgia is struggling at the moment. She isn’t just having to navigate the circumstances, but doing it publicly.”

“She has been humiliated. People are quick to forget there is a child in the middle of this mess”, they added. “Georgia is putting her focus into their son, Cooper. For now, Georgia will not be participating in any work commitments, including The Baby Show, and any podcast filming. “.
They went on to say, “With thousands of people attending, and a number of media titles, it wouldn’t be right for her to attend and speak, when the news is only going to have been a week old by this point.”
“How can Georgia be expected to know what to say to attendees and the media, when she doesn’t know what to say to her nearest and dearest right now? Georgia is a strong person and will find her way, but she is prioritising their son over everything else right now to ensure he is protected.”
