Miles Bridges’ new song recently ranks Kobe Bryant over Michael Jordan in a new song.
Bridges really appeared on a stream with N3on where he shared a new “diss” track to NBA players. The refrain is literally “It’s a lot of NBA ni**as that I don’t like” — even if he didn’t say anything majorly offensive in the minute-long glimpse of the track he played for Neon’s watchers.
While he doesn’t outright criticize any players, the track does start off with the line, “First of all, Kobe over Mike.” Everyone has their arguments for whether Bryant or Jordan was the better player in their prime, but it’s interesting to hear this take on this song since Jordan is a former owner of the Charlotte Hornets.—the team Bridges plays for.
As if to cover his tracks, Bridges hopped on X and claimed that he wasn’t the person that said that line at the beginning of the track. “That wasn’t me that said Kobe over Mike that was Skilla 🤣🤣” he said.
Elsewhere on the track, Bridges gives a shoutout to other popular players including Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ja Morant, and Rudy Gobert.
Bridges may have earned the right to trash-talk his fellow NBA players with his recent play. Although the Hornets recently lost to the Washington Wizards, Bridges recorded a triple double consisting of 24 points, 10 assists, and 10-rebounds.
After the game, a visibly frustrated Bridges spoke to the press about how his team needs to play harder. “We just can’t wait until teams hit us in the mouth first,” Bridges said. “We’ve got to go out there and play from the jump, play with a lot more pride. I mean, we’ve got nothing to lose. We’ve just got to go out there and play.”
