Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about the possibility of expanding her brood and has discussed the realities of tackling a “sad and confusing” parenting dilemma. After welcoming her daughter Bambi into the world in 2023, the Love Island star has documented her experiences of parenting online.
From opening up about co-parenting with ex-fiancé Tommy Fury to discussing the challenges she felt during the “first few weeks”, Molly-Mae, 25, has been praised by fans for shining a light on the highs and lows of parenting. And now, in a new parenting update, the TV personality has spoken about her thoughts on having a second child.
During an Instagram Q&A on Sunday, 24 November, Molly-Mae tackled a whole host of topics, including motherhood. As part of the Q&A session, one fan asked: “How many more kids would you like”.
In response Molly-Mae explained that Bambi, one, “could be it” for her, though added that she was uncertain about the matter. “I honestly think a lot these days that Bambi could be it for me. I’m not sure,” she added.
Elsewhere in the question and answer session the Maebe founder discussed a challenge that she’d come across with Bambi as she navigated her little one “hitting” herself, her mum and her sister Zoe. “You said Bambi had started hitting. Has this got any better since she started nursery Xx,” asked another fan.
Replying to the question, Molly-Mae detailed how she was researching the issue to ensure that she tackled the problem “correctly” after admitting that it hadn’t got better since Bambi began nursery.
“No it hasn’t gotten any better yet it’s so strange as she only does it with me, my mum and my sister … no one else !? She’s never done it to anyone at nursery or anyone else that’s around her. It’s like she knows who it’ll upset the most. I know it’s just a phase but it’s obviously really sad and confusing for us and her,” she admitted.
“My mum visited last week and I would say that’s where I’ve seen it peak, it wasn’t just hitting it was scratching and pinching for three days whenever my mum got close to her! It’s quite embarrassing to admit really. I just don’t know where she’s picked it up from and I’m doing a lot of research on the best way to approach it / handle it because I really want to tackle it correctly.”
