Marks & Spencer shoppers have been snapping up an “exceptional” bedding set that brings a “touch of luxury” to the bedroom.
The Aida-Alouette Damask Sateen Bedding Set has shot to the top of the bedding bestseller list at the high street retailer thanks to its sophisticated design perfect for sprucing up your home at any time of year. Made from pure cotton with a 220 thread count, it features a reversible damask-inspired design for two looks in one and is finished off with an easy zip fastening.
Priced at £39.50 for a single, £49.50 for a double, £59 for a king and £69 for a super king set, the bedding comes in subtle grey, pink, blue or green shades to match any décor, with its classy pattern featuring twining florals perfect for spring. And it has earned a near-perfect rating of 4.9 out of five stars from M&S shoppers so far, who branded it the “best bedding purchase ever” thanks to its “beautiful quality” and “super soft” feel.

One person praised: “This bedding set is gorgeous. It looks and feels much more expensive than it was. Having the zippered closing leaves a neat finish on the quilt cover and saves opening/closing all those buttons I struggle with on other quilt covers! It feels lovely on my skin.”
Another reviewer said: “The zip fastening is great and almost edge to edge, so makes putting the duvet in so much easier. Material feels like slipping into clean sheets every night and pattern is lovely.”
A third shopper raved: “Absolutely delighted with this duvet cover set. The material is high quality and it washes really well.”

While the majority of M&S customers awarded the bedding a full five-star rating and no one gave it fewer than three stars, a couple of shoppers were less impressed by it, with one commenting: “Looked so much better in the picture. Material good but slightly disappointed for the money.”
