Added ticket details

Newcastle have sought to clarify some additional ticket rules in recent days, with plenty of support offered to matchgoing fans planning to make the trip to the capital.

In total, Newcastle have been allocated 31,939 tickets for the West End of Wembley stadium. This is a lower total allocation than was dished out for the 2022/23 final but the Magpies have ensured a higher percentage of tickets will be made available this time around.

Fans who would like to sit together for the final need to have linked their online ticketing accounts at book.newcastleunited.com in advance using the ‘friends and family’ option.

A maximum of six tickets can be purchased per one transaction and all supporters must have the same required level of eligibility. Furthermore, 867 ‘standing’ seats have been allocated to each team, with standing not permitted anywhere else in the stadium.

Joint fan statement

Ahead of tickets going on sale, the likes of the Newcastle United Supporters’ Trust, Wor Flags, the Newcastle United Supporters’ Club and True Faith have released a statement urging supporters to create ‘an electric atmosphere’ for the final.

Their statement read: “With the release of cup final ticketing allocations, supporters groups have been discussing the frustrations amongst many about the atmosphere in our end the last time out at Wembley. In March, we want to ensure that we create an electric atmosphere in the stands.

“We’re also aware of frustrations where people wanted to stand in areas where people wanted to sit, which were mainly located in the side sections. Whilst we can’t tell you what to do or book, we hope those willing to stand and create an atmosphere throughout the entire game aim for Blocks 127-140 when purchasing.

“We aren’t here to witness an atmosphere. We need to create one. Get behind the lads.”
