You don’t need to tell Alexander Isak just how loved he is by Newcastle United fans and the super striker from Sweden has now had a Valentine’s Day card created in his honour.
Isak has had an absolutely blinding season for NUFC so far, with him being one of the Premier League’s highest scorers, thanks to the 17 goals he has to his name in the new campaign. He was rested as Eddie Howe’s side headed to Birmingham for their FA Cup fourth round tie at the weekend, returning home on the right side of a 2-3 result, thanks to goals from Joe Willock and Callum Wilson.
And, ahead of an away trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City this weekend and with a month to go him hopefully doing the business against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, Isak’s face had found its way onto the front of a Valentine’s card, along with the words ‘You’re Isak-tly what I’m looking for.’
The £.3.69 card, created by a business called The Cake Thief, is currently on sale online from Thortful, with its product description reading: ‘Send love to your football supporter husband or boyfriend with this funny Valentine’s Day card. Featuring their favourite footballer, this card is sure to earn you some extra brownie points this year.’
Anyone who fancies purchasing the card for the object of their affections for Valentine’s Day should still have enough time to get it ordered and delivered by Friday, with all cards being sent out 1st Class.
While he wasn’t spotted with them, several Newcastle United first team stars enjoyed a night out at St James’ Stack in the city centre on Sunday night, with the likes of Sandro Tonali, Kieran Trippier, Harvey Barnes and Tino Livramento see celebrating the win against Birmingham at the popular location.
