Northumbria Police are appealing to the public for help to locate a missing teenager from Houghton-le-Spring.
Layla Anderson, 15, was last seen at about 11.15pm on Tuesday (March 11) in the area of Scott Street.
Officers and her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information on Layla’s whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
Layla is described as a white female, about 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with long black hair and a scar on her forehead. She was last seen wearing black flared trousers and a black padded jacket.
Layla, or anyone who knows where she might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the force’s website.
