There were no shortage of customers for the relaunch of a popular Newcastle shop on Friday, with a queue outside the door to enjoy music from a live DJ and a glass of free, as well as the chance to bag themselves a goody or two.
While by no means a newcomer to the busy Eldon Square shopping centre in the middle of town, The Fragrance Shop, just down from the indoor entrance of Fenwick, is now looking rather different, thanks to a new look inside and out. The already spacious retail space is now looking even bigger, with the well lit premises boasting all the famous fragrance brands you’d expect, from Armani to Dior and Givenchy to Gucci; with the first customers through the doors spinning the wheel for a chance to get some serious discounts.
As the UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer, The Fragrance Shop continues to dominate the market with over 220 stores nationwide and a thriving online platform, offering more than 150 fragrance brands and 200+ beauty brands.
The Eldon Square flagship is one of four major store refurbishments, designed to enhance customer experience with state-of-the-art digital displays and interactive fragrance discovery technology, setting a new benchmark in fragrance retail.
A spokesperson for The Fragrance Shop added that the investment highlighted The Fragrance Shop’s commitment to ‘blending digital innovation with luxury retail, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.’
In a busy few days for Eldon Square, the famous shopping mall has also welcomed another new tenant, in the shape of Wingstop; with the globally renowned chicken restaurant going into the ground floor premises previously occupied by George’s British Kitchen.
