Rylan Clark ‘walks off’ as This Morning hosts expose mishap – leaving Rob Rinder in stitches

Rylan Clark has left Rob Rinder and the This Morning team in stitches after storming off the set over an embarrassing clip.

The TV presenter stopped by This Morning on Thursday to chat about his show with Rob Rinder – Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour – however, he got more than he bargained for when he returned to the show. The show’s presenter Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard surprised Rylan with a clip of him hosting the show with Rochelle Humes whilst showing off a dodgy hand tan.

While Rylan and Rob were stood next to beauty expert Nadine Baggott, who was on the show to chat about tanning products, Ben teased that Rylan had suffered tanning mishaps in the past. “We’d hate to bring something up that maybe would imply he has,” he smiled, before rolling the clip.

In the clip, Rylan shows his hand to the camera and says, “Someone has just tweeted my tan hand,” before showing that the back of it was orange and the palm was white. “Hello Barbados, hello Dagenham!” he said whilst flipping his hand.

After watching the clip, Rylan threw a bottle of tanner at the camera and stormed off, leaving his co-stars in stitches. “The good news is that he won’t make that mistake again thanks to Nadine!” Ben said. “She’s got you covered literally, all over. See you after the break!”

Rylan is no stranger to the This Morning sofa, having first appeared in 2013 before going on to guest present the ITV show. The presenter is now fronting a BBC Two travel show with Rob Rinder, Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour, with the pair travelling across Italy over three episodes to follow the same route that Lord Byron did in the 18th century.

After opening up about his relationship with Rob and quoting Byron by saying that “friendship may and often grow into love”, the presenter was forced to address rumours of a romance between him and his co-host. Taking to social media, Rylan wrote: “To the journalist that just doorstepped my mum at her house, as polite as you were, please don’t.

“She said you were a lovely man but she’s 71 years old and it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable. The answer is no. I’m not dating Rob Rinder; he’s one of my closest friends. Next time tweet me. Thanks.”
