Sam Fender announces three new outdoor shows for summer 2025 after St James’ Park

Sam Fender’s already packed 2025 has just got even busier, with the Seventeen Going Under star announcing three new outdoor dates for this summer, following on from his trio of sell out shows on home turf.

The North Shields music icon made his live return at the end of last year, with him playing the likes of London, Leeds and Dublin on his new tour, in support of comeback single People Watching and his upcoming third album of the same name. Sadly for fans in Newcastle, Sam was forced to postpone his Christmas gig at the Utilita Arena, after a huge clamour for tickets; with him devastated to break the news that he’d been advised to rest on doctor’s orders, having ruptured a vocal chord.

Sam is due to return to the stage for his People Watching dates in Europe next month, before playing Coachella, headlining one day of Radio 1’s Big Weekend and then the small matter of three nights at St James’ Park; two years after his double header of concerts at Newcastle United’s famous ground saw the whole city turned into a sea of black and white..

Sam, who will launch new single Remember My Name on Friday. will also play the London Stadium in June and, on Thursday morning, announced three big outdoor dates in Manchester (Wythenshawe Park on August 16, Edinburgh’s Summer Sessions (at Royal Highland Showgrounds) on August 22 and and Belfast as part of the VITAL series (at Boucher Road Playing Fields on August 28.
