Reality star Scott Thomas has made his sizzling debut in the Love Island All Stars villa, and his celeb brothers couldn’t resist sharing their thoughts. Ryan Thomas, on Monday 13 January, shared the family’s reaction to Scott’s first day antics as they settled down to watch him partner up with bombshell India – with the family, including Ryan’s other half, Lucy Mecklenburgh, and Scott’s twin Adam, gasping as Ekin-Su strutted into the South African abode. The jaw-dropping moment unfolded as Scott was caught murmuring to India, “She slid into my DMs a few times.”
Adam Thomas then opened up about his twin’s stint on This Morning after talking about his own health updates. Commenting on seeing Scott on screen, he said: “It’s brilliant, the whole family got together and we watched the first episode. It was just amazing and I’m so happy for him.” Showering his brother with love, he said, “I just want him to be happy, I want him to enjoy it,” letting slip that Scott played coy about his return to the dating show, fearing friends might sway his decision. “When he was first going in he didn’t really want to tell anybody because he was scared that people were going to talk him out of it,” reports the Mirror.

Despite keeping mum on the gossip, Adam revealed his excitement, saying, “He’s just doing what he wanted to do, and I can’t wait to see him fall in love.” In a cheeky chat with presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, he even touched upon rumours swirling around about the show being rigged, hinting the stars might not be strangers after all.
“I don’t think it is,” Adam said. “Scott did know India, she’s from Manchester so they have crossed paths before. And like Scott said on the show, Ekin-Su slid into his DMs,” he chuckled. “Why does he get all the DMs? I get nothing!”
Before diving back into Love Island life, 36 year old Scott shared that his brother Adam’s blissful marriage inspired him to find romance again. “My brother Adam and his wife Caroline, they have an amazing relationship,” he gushed. “I always say I want to find ‘my Caroline’. They are still madly in love.”
Additionally, he opened up about his reasons for returning as one of the more mature Islanders. “I’ve been on a massive journey over the last five years; I’ve been working on sobriety, personal growth, self development,” Scott revealed. “When I first went into the villa I was still a bit of a boy… I feel like I finally know who I am. It might sound cheesy but I’m ready to settle down and I’ve never been open to saying those words. Where better than Love Island?”
He also explained why he’s drawn to the All Stars format. “It’s nice knowing that there’ll be some familiar faces in there. Hopefully it’ll be a good little vibe. Before you were starting from scratch, this time you have a bit of rapport,” he said.
