Stacey Solomon’s Sort Your Life Out co-star, Dilly Carter, has opened up about her three life-saving surgeries. The mum of one reflected on the year which saw her ‘stay alive’ as she shared a photo of scars and told followers, ‘please prioritise your health’.
In 2023, Dilly revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage one cancer of the womb. Taking to social media to explain why she had been missing from an episode of Sort Your Life Out,the 42 year old revealed that during the episode that was filmed back in October 2022, she was having major surgery to remove her cancer at the time.

She has since kept fans updated on her progress and, in the new post reflecting back on 2024, bravely showed her scars, having undergone three ‘major operations’. In the photo, Dilly took a snap of her body from above as she basked in the sunshine while donning a black bikini – her scars proudly on display.
In an honest caption, Dilly wrote: “The greatest thing I achieved this year was to stay alive. And for many of us that’s enough.” She continued: “My scars all tell a story and I wear them with pride. Because every one of the 3 major operations have kept me alive.
“I couldn’t be more proud of my body and what it got me through this year. Our scars shape us, sometimes show we have created life, and sometimes like me, save our lives. And for all the cuts, grazes, injuries, operations, they are what make us.
“So for all my Dollies, the brave, the bold, the warriors. The survivors and everyone in between. Well done. We did it. We got through. Now let’s continue to live our best lives as healthily and as positively as we can.

“We have one body. One life. Appreciate it. It’s got you this far and if you haven’t so far……… next year PLEASE prioritise your health. Happy new year Dollies. Thank you for all your support through my best and toughest times. You have been incredible and I’m so grateful for you all.”
She ended the post with: “I can’t wait to help you more in 2025. It’s going to be the best yet. And to my support team, I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Celebrity pals rushed to support the TV star, including close pal Stacey Solomon, who wrote: “Love you dils.” Alice Liveing commented: “You are amazing,” and actress Kerry Ellis shared: “We love you and are so proud xxx can’t wait to see you when your home x.”
