Stacey Solomon’s latest episode of her hit BBC series Sort Your Life Out showcased a bit more than just decluttering chaos. The beloved TV personality was helping Katrina, a single mum with four kids, to revamp their home in Wales by ditching the unnecessary.
Despite the heartwarming intent, Stacey found herself overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff and took a cheeky break outside for tea and biscuits.
Sneaking out while her team soldiered on with the packing, the 35-year-old jokingly warned the camera: “Don’t you follow me over here and judge me. Have you seen how much we’ve got to pack up?”
Reunited with the family in the warehouse later, they were gobsmacked at the sight of their hoarded treasures – including a whopping 425 stuffed animals, 37 scissors, and 123 fancy dress costumes, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The show took an emotional turn when Tayla, Katrina’s eldest daughter, shared memories of her childhood cancer battle with non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt’s lymphoma.
In a heart-to-heart with Stacey, Tayla held onto an item that symbolised her strength and journey, confessing: “It was very hard. I like having it just because it shows me that I’ve been through that, and it shows me how strong I am now as a person.”
As Tayla recounted her emotional journey, she quickly broke down tears, leading to a heartwarming moment as Stacey rushed in with a comforting embrace. In a touching exchange, Stacey assured the brave teen: “You’re incredible.”

Tayla shared the joyful news that she received the all-clear in October last year and is now eagerly anticipating the next chapter of her life. Among the cherished memories from her challenging period, one item stood out that she desperately wished to recover.
Opening up about the sentimental object she lost, Tayla said: “There is one thing I really want to find, it’s my beads of courage that I got during my hospital time. Every single treatment I had, we had a bead. I’ve lost them and I don’t know where they are. I’d love to find them.”

During their search in the warehouse, Stacey stumbled upon the treasured beads, promptly summoning Tayla to share the discovery. The reunion with her beads of courage deeply moved Tayla, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Stacey for retrieving such a significant part of her life.
In an act of loving preservation, when Stacey was revamping their home, she ensured Tayla’s history was honoured by placing the beads in a frame on her bedroom wall, safeguarding them from being misplaced ever again.
