A wanted man is actively evading arrest as a police search continues, and he has links to both Sunderland and County Durham.
Kieron Wynn, 31, is wanted on prison recall, and extensive inquiries have already been made across the region to locate him.
Officers from Northumbria Police are now asking for the public’s help to trace him, and they have appealed for anyone with information to come forward, while reminding members of the public that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and that those involved could be prosecuted.
Wynn, or anyone who believes they have seen him, is asked to send Northumbria Police a direct message on social media, or use the live chat function and report forms on the police website here.
Alternatively, those who are unable to contact police in these ways should call 101, quoting the following reference number: NP-20241226-0978.
