The Super Bowl is set to kick off at 6.30pm local time, which means UK viewers will need to tune in from around 11.30pm. And with an extended half-time show, the action could continue until roughly 4am…a late one indeed!

The grand event in New Orleans will be available on free-to-air television for UK viewers, with ITV holding the rights. The broadcast will commence at 10.45pm, and viewers can also catch the action on itvX. Sky Sports will be providing live coverage across their channels and Sky Go, starting slightly earlier at 10pm.
So, who’s the star of the Super Bowl halftime show?
Grammy Award-winning artist Kendrick Lamar is set to take centre stage during the renowned half-time performance. Fresh from bagging five awards, including best song for his hit ‘Not Like Us’, fans are eagerly anticipating whether this track – the final chapter in a lyrical feud with Canadian rapper Drake – will feature in his set, although he hasn’t officially confirmed its inclusion.
SZA is also slated to join Kendrick on stage, with plans for the duo to embark on a tour following the game.
