The Game is weighing in on the 50 Cent and Lil Meech drama.
“So do I take BMF out my favorites on PRIME now that y’all hate each other?” The Game asked in an Instagram Story. “Just seen a text from Lil Meech to 50 that got me dying…” he continued in a Story, reshared by Akademiks. “Aye Lil Meech, you supposed to be like f#%k you [ninja emoji] this BMF n I’m standing wit my pops… Now me & 50 have our own issues but them shits on pause while I post this… the [ninja emoji] 5th said ‘what show lil [ninja emoji]’ & I damn near spit my water out. What happened to [ninja emoji] man.. Aye Big Meech, you kant let 50 get at you like that lol.”
Game, who has also had a years-long feud with Fif, admitted he was amused by the text and encouraged Lil Meech to stand up for himself as his pops.
The “West Side Story” rapper was referencing the recent online exchange between 50 Cent and Lil Meech, who starred in the Fif-produced Starz series BMF. As most fans know, the show is based on the true story of the Black Family Mafia, a Detroit drug trafficking organization co-founded by Lil Meech’s dad, Demetrius Edward “Big Meech” Flenory.
The drama seemingly started earlier this month when 50’s longtime foe Rick Ross posted a photo with Meech for his February 13 Welcome Back concert to celebrate Big Meech’s prison release. Shortly after the promo was shared, 50 took to Instagram with a photo of a rat, seemingly suggesting that Big Meech was a snitch who should have maintained a closer relationship with his business partner, Tammy Cowins—a BMF producer accused of being a police informant.
“The biggest mistake he ever made was not sustaining his relationship with (Tammy Cowin),” Fif captioned a photo of a rat. “Her tell-all docu reveals the truth.”
Soon after the post, 50 returned to the ’Gram to share a text puportedly sent from Lil Meech. The BMF star allegedly questioned why Fif had unfollowed him on Instagram and made it clear he was fully in Fif’s corner.
“Now u mad at me when I would take the shirt off my back for you,” the text read. “I can’t believe this man. U act as if I’m your enemy. I’ve only showed u love and loyalty. I go thru my own shit but I never switched up on u.”
50 Cent fueled rumors that BMF was not returning for a fourth season, as he captioned the text screenshot with, “What next season little [ninja emoji?”
