The Kardashians viewers left ‘so sad’ after unexpected reunion with former couple

Season six of The Kardashians kicked off with a major splash as today’s release (6th February) on Disney+ had everyone buzzing.

The debut episode delivered the long-awaited reunion between Khloe Kardashian and her ex-spouse Lamar Odom, marking their first encounter after years apart.

Khloe’s right-hand woman, Malika Haqq, stumbled upon Lamar at the Super Bowl, leading to Khloe admitting she still held onto some of his stuff.

With a nudge from Malika, they arranged a heartfelt meet-up that walked them down memory lane through their marriage, sparking a montage of the good old days.

Viewers were deeply moved and rushed to Reddit to spill their thoughts, with one user confessing: “The Khloe and Lamar flashbacks made me emotional af”, reports the Mirror.

They added, revealingly, “Because I think the fallout of that relationship changed her a lot and I don’t blame her one bit for it.”

Another posted, getting reflective: “The Khloe and Lamar flashbacks had me teary-eyed! I forgot how long they were actually together and how in love they were.”

A different comment read: “The Lamar reunion made me so sad and…I dunno. I feel like they shouldn’t have filmed it, much as I want to see it.”

Someone else raved about the overall episode: “EPISODE WAS TEA. It was actually good. I’m shocked. I’m sat and tuned in. The Khloe and Lamar scene made me emotional af. I felt for him and her. Khloe did a lot for him. She’s such a queen.”

And another viewer chimed in after watching: “I just watched. Did anybody cry for Lamar? I didn’t think I would, but him reliving his pain felt real. Like remembering being rock bottom.”

The duo tied the knot in 2009, but by 2013, Khloe had filed for divorce, which wasn’t finalised until two years later.

In a moment that took everyone by surprise during the episode, Kris Jenner admitted to an unexpected link to the notorious Menendez brothers.

Lyle and Erik Menendez, infamous for their conviction in the brutal murder of their parents Jose and Mary Louise ‘Kitty’ Menendez back in 1989 at their residence in Beverly Hills, were apparently known to Kris.

Following a photoshoot with Kris, Kourtney, and Kendall, Kim dropped a bombshell: “Ryan Murphy told me that his new series, like how he did Dahmer, is now gonna be on the Menendez brothers.”

To which Kris astonishingly confessed: “Oh, my God. You know I knew those guys in the ’80s. I knew the kids because Erik used to come over and play tennis with your dad on the weekends.”
