The Traitors winner Leanne Quigley says she still hasn’t received the huge prize money

Leanne Quigley, star of The Traitors, has become the latest winner of the BBC show, bagging half of the £94,600 cash prize alongside fellow contestant Jake Brown. However, the 28-year-old has revealed she’s still waiting for her winnings, despite filming the show eight months ago.

In Friday’s dramatic finale, Leanne and Jake made it to the last roundtable with Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Alexander Dragonetti and the final Traitor – Charlotte Berman. After banishing Charlotte at the roundtable, leaving only Faithfuls at the firepit, they decided to banish Alexander and Francesca before ending the game.

Speaking on This Morning on Monday, Leanne was asked by hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley if she had received her winnings yet. Ben queried: “You have to wait for the show to air before you get your winnings – has it arrived yet?” To which Leanne responded: “No, not yet. No.”

When asked about her plans for the £47,300, Leanne shared: “I mentioned that I would love to have another baby, I’d love to try for IVF again and give my little boys a sibling.”

She added: “Also, We have a wedding to plan now. I got engaged back in August, which is just the best feeling. [My boys] are just amazing and they’re warriors and they don’t even know it,” reported the Mirror.

Leanne gushed about her wedding preparations with her partner of six years, Sophie, saying: “We have got wedding planning to do. We have just started. We haven’t set a date yet but yeah we can get a wedding going.”

The loved-up pair are also proud mums to their twin boys, Hudson and Harley, who arrived prematurely in January 2023. Taking to Instagram to share the emotional experience, Leanne wrote that it was the “scariest” day of her life when her tiny bundles of joy were born three and a half months early.

“They are the most precious, beautiful, tiniest little babies I have ever seen in my life and I’m so proud of how much they are fighting every single day… We took some time to figure out if we should share our news, but our babies are here fighting and they deserve all the love and prayers they can get,” she expressed.

After securing the win, Leanne confessed to The Mirror that triumph as a Faithful confirmed one big thing for her: “I realised I could never be a Traitor. My heart just couldn’t take it.”
