Timbaland wants to do an In the Booth segment with Plaqueboymax–now it’s the Twitch creator’s call.
The legendary producer held a stream on Wednesday (Feb. 5), and while chatting with up-and-coming artists, someone proposed that he stream with Plaqueboymax, real name Maxwell Dent. Since the FaZe Clan content creator also raps, produces, and occasionally features artists on his In the Booth series, it would only be right for Timbaland to be on the production side while Max rocks the mic.
“Somebody said I should do a stream with Plaqueboymax,” Timbo said in the video below. “Yes, we should. Any of ya’ll know him? Send this out to him, ’cause yeah, we should. ‘Cause he do music and I’d love to be on his stream and do some music with him. Yeah, that would be dope.”
While Plaqueboymax hasn’t yet responded to Timbaland’s proposal, the Twitch star last hosted Wiz Khalifa on In the Booth, where the two worked on new music during a live session. Others artists that have worked with Max include Central Cee, ian, and BabyTron.
In other Timbaland news, after he and Swizz Beatz shifted Verzuz to X, formerly Twitter, in a distribution deal last year, the music competition could soon return.
