Elma was thrilled to catch up with her friend Amber Turner, a co-star from The Only Way is Essex. However, the chat sparked controversy among viewers. Amber couldn’t help but gush about Elma’s blossoming romance with fellow TOWIE star Sammy Root, calling him “the perfect person” for her.
She also raised eyebrows by expressing her reservations about Ekin-Su and Curtis’ relationship, suggesting it “doesn’t come across as super genuine.” The comment came amid ongoing tension between Elma and Ekin-Su, which had been simmering since the latter kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge. Despite efforts to put the drama behind them, the argument continued to unfold on Wednesday’s episode, leaving fans divided on who was in the right.

The drama has been brewing since Elma was initially coupled up with Ronnie Vint, only for his ex Harriett Blackmore to arrive and shake things up. Elma’s fortunes changed with the arrival of bombshell Sammy, with whom she shared a pre-existing connection, reports the Mirror.
With the final just days away, and having been cut off from the outside world for over a month, the timing of the video call was a welcome distraction – but the content only served to fuel the fire. Wrapping up, Amber told Elma: “Everyone on the outside has been rooting for you, you got voted favourite girl, what the hell!”
However, some fans are doubting the truth of Amber’s statement following recent drama. One fan took to X, previously known as Twitter, and wrote: “Amber just LIED to Elma on national television #LoveIslandAllStars #LoveIsland #AllStars, while another said:” while another commented: “Lmaoo Amber lied to her mate Elma and set her up to fail because now she’s going to continue being wrong and strong. #LoveIsland”.

A third chimed in: “Amber is a terrible friend for not telling Elma the truth. However, other fans are firmly backing Elma, arguing Ekin shouldn’t have kissed Sammy in the first place. “Why’s no one talking about Ekin saying if you were a ‘real friend’ as if she didn’t kiss Elma’s man? ?” questioned one, while another pointed out: “Why is nobody taking into consideration that maybe Sammy didn’t want to be kissed by Ekin? if roles were reversed the world would be going mad right now.”
Elma became a regular on the ITVBe show The Only Way Is Essex in 2022, while Amber joined the cast back in 2017. Fans of the show have been privy to her tumultuous relationship with Dancing On Ice star Dan Edgar, which finally ended in 2023.
