Vicky Pattison holds back tears as she shares heartbreaking family admission

Vicky Pattison opened up about her fears of starting a family during an emotional appearance on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV chat show. She was there to discuss her new Channel 4 show, Vicky Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tape, which airs tonight.

The programme sees Vicky, 37, collaborating with actors to create and leak a Deepfake porn video featuring her image online. During her conversation with Lorraine, Vicky shared her anxieties about having children with her husband Ercan Ramadan, 41, after uncovering the disturbing reality of Deepfakes.

Discussing the documentary, Lorraine noted: “You’re very emotional all the way through and we can see how much it affects you and how it affects the people you talk to.”

She added: “It’s not just women in the public eye that it’s happened to, but it does happen sadly to ordinary mothers that are going back to their lives and someone takes their image and does that to them.”

Vicky responded by saying: “I was lucky enough to meet four incredible survivors of Deepfake abuse and not only how they’ve put their lives back together but are also campaigning for change and that is nothing short of inspirational.”

The former Geordie Shore star got emotional as she discussed her personal life and the worries she has about raising children in today’s world, reports Chronicle Live.

She shared her heartfelt concerns, saying: “The bit that gets me and it always gets to me is that obviously I got married last year and Ercan and I would love to try and start a family but what world are we bringing little girls up in.”

She continued with a sense of urgency: “What are we teaching little lads and this problem is affecting women as we’ve seen the technology doesn’t even recognise a man’s body so it’s affecting girls and children.”

During the chat, Lorraine highlighted that Vicky’s documentary had stirred up quite the storm already.

Vicky responded candidly: “Let me just say, I completely understand that this has been a divisive way to go about sharing the information about fake AI and to try and spread awareness. We’ve been loud and we’ve been deliberate and I know that it has ruffled some feathers.”

She empathised with those affected by the controversy, adding: “Anybody who feels any type of way about it, I completely understand the feelings, that they’re valid and I’m not trying to trivialise them.”

Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV and ITVX and Vicky Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tape will be available to watch and stream on Channel 4 at 10pm on Tuesday, January 28.
