Wetherspoon is introducing new breakfast deals, including a small full English for just £2.99. The deals are being rolled out across over 650 locations in the UK, including North East pubs, with meals priced at £2.99 or less.
Customers can enjoy a range of breakfast options such as any breakfast muffin for £2.99 or less (which includes any soft drink or free refills of coffee, tea or hot chocolate), and a small breakfast for £2.99 or less. Other offers include tea and toast for £2.49, which also comes with free refills of coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
The breakfast muffin consists of a fried free-range egg, Lincolnshire sausage, bacon and American-style cheese, served in an English muffin. The small breakfast includes a fried free-range egg, bacon, Lincolnshire sausage, baked beans and a hash brown.
The tea and toast deal provides two slices of toast with your choice of jam or marmalade. Vegetarian options are available for all breakfast deals.
Additionally, for £1.71, customers can enjoy Lavazza coffee, Twinings tea or hot chocolate, all with free refills, reports Birmingham Live.
Tim Martin, the founder and chairman of Wetherspoon, has highlighted the chain’s reputation for value, stating: “Our pubs are known for offering excellent food and drinks, at great prices. We believe that customers will welcome the value-for-money breakfasts in the pubs.”
In a push to entice morning patrons, 117 pubs across the country will be serving up the small breakfast for £3.99, although in three establishments the price will be slightly higher at £4.99. However, this initiative excludes pubs located in the Republic of Ireland, airports, and specific railway stations including Liverpool Street, St Pancras International, Victoria and Waterloo.
The new menu is set to include breakfast muffins and smaller breakfast options, attractively priced at £2.99 – with the added bonus of free hot drink refills. For those after a lighter start, tea and toast will be available for just £2.49, reflecting Wetherspoon’s commitment to expanding its affordable breakfast selection nationwide.
